Who We Are
Palm Bay Education Group, Inc. (PBEG) is a nonprofit public charter school network in Panama City, Florida. We operate three tuition-free public charter schools on a shared campus, all governed by one school board and united by one mission: to give every student the education they deserve.
Our schools serve students from kindergarten through young adulthood, including students in traditional academic programs and students who need an alternative path to their diploma. Every school in our network is open to any Florida student at no cost — no tuition, no test, no lottery.

Our Commitment
PBEG was founded on the belief that public education should work for every student, not just the students who fit a standard mold. We serve a diverse community in Panama City, including a significant Spanish-speaking population, military families, students with learning differences, and students whose path to graduation has not been straight.
As a Title I school network, we receive federal funding to support students from low-income families. We believe that access to a high-quality education should never depend on a family’s ability to pay.
Governance
Palm Bay Education Group is governed by a volunteer school board responsible for oversight of all three schools. The board operates in accordance with Florida charter school law and PBEG’s charter agreements. Board meetings are open to the public.

Leadership
Ron Danzey serves as Chief Executive Officer of Palm Bay Education Group, Inc. He provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the network and works closely with school principals, the board, and the community.
