Central High School is a tuition-free public charter program for Florida residents ages 16 to 21. There is no cost to attend, no entrance test, and no application fee. Enrollment is open August through June — you can start at any time.
Enrollment is in person only. Come in to the school and we will walk you through the entire process and help you build a plan to graduate.

Don’t have everything? Come in anyway. We will work with what you have and request records on your behalf if needed.
What Happens Next
When you come in, we will sit down with you to review your existing credits, identify what you still need to graduate, and put together a schedule. You will not leave without a plan. We enroll students on an ongoing basis, so there is no waiting for the next semester to start.

- School ends: 2:45 PM
- Arrive no earlier than 7:30 AM — pickup no later than 3:00 PM
Getting to School
Students provide their own transportation. Central High is located at 1250 West 17th Street, Suite A, Panama City, FL 32405 (in front of the Post Office off Lisenby Avenue).
Bay Town Trolley stops nearby at 15th & Lisenby Ave and 23rd & Lisenby Ave. Students who attend regularly can get a free trolley pass — ask at the front office.
English Language Learners
Central High School welcomes students with limited English proficiency. We provide ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) services to support your success in regular classroom settings. Please let us know when you come in to enroll so we can make sure the right support is in place from day one.
Military Families
