Central High School supports students in and out of the classroom. Getting your diploma is the goal — and we know that sometimes the things standing between you and graduation have nothing to do with academics. Our student services team is here to help.
School Counseling
Our school counselor works one-on-one with students on academic planning, credit tracking, and personal support. If you need to talk, you can. If you need a plan, we’ll make one. Contact the school office to connect with the counselor.
College & Career Planning
A diploma is a starting point, not a finish line. We help students figure out what comes next:
- Applying to community college or a vocational program
- Completing a FAFSA for financial aid
- Exploring trade and apprenticeship programs
- Preparing a resume and understanding the job market
- Understanding transcript requests and records
Students with IEPs and 504 Plans
Students with active IEPs or 504 plans receive services in accordance with those plans. If you have a plan from a previous school, bring it when you enroll and we will make sure it is in place. If you think you may need support but don’t have a plan yet, talk to us and we will get the process started.
Mental Health & Crisis Support
If you are going through something hard, you don’t have to go through it alone. Resources are available to you at any time:
🚨 Crisis & Suicide Prevention: Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, 24/7)
💬 Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741
🧠 Mental Health Florida: floridahealth.gov
